An Introduction to the Michaëlle Jean Foundation

 

I want to introduce you to the Michaëlle Jean Foundation, the legacy project of our former Governor General Michaëlle Jean and her husband, filmmaker and philosopher, Jean-Daniel Lafond. The Foundation is currently working to empower young Canadians to use the arts to better their communities.

One of their objectives is to raise national awareness about the importance of the arts and creativity in moving us toward a better society.

From November 19 - December 4  (Tues. - Sat. 10-5, Sun. 12-5, Closed Mondays) shop for one-of-a-kind items created by over 45 skilled artists and artisans. The great diversity will amaze and inspire - something for everyone! Held in the Dufferin Museum & Archives at Airport Rd. & Hwy. 89.
